Silly Girl

Have you ever been in a silly mood? Here I am being silly during a hike last weekend.


I took some time out the tell the trees how much I love them. That's me, the little tree hugger!


Mama and I shared a walking stick on our hike.


While we were out Jax found a "stick" her really really wanted to keep. It was too big for him to carry all the way back on his own, so Daddy and Papa had to help him. Of course he kept a close eye on them to be sure nothing happened to his prize.

The Lake with 2 names

On Day 2 of our super fun weekend we went to a lake near our house. You may ask why it has 2 names. Well, mom thinks it is called one thing, Dad thinks it is called another. Apparently the Forest Service can't agree either because on some signs it says one thing (making Mom right) and on other signs it says another (making Dad right). My first lesson in "Government hard at work". Despite all that, I managed to have a great time at the lake with 2 names.


I built a beautiful sand castle, do you want to move in?


Dad gave me some flying lessons.


Of course I got in some quality time showing my brother the fun of splashing in the lake and throwing a little sand.


So that is the story of my weekend. Bet you can't top that!

Day one of a fun weekend

I had a wonderful weekend this weekend. Saturday we went out to spend time with the extended family. Here I am lounging at the pool at my great-uncle PD's.

Daddy helped me with a few swim lessons.

I met more of my second cousins once removed. This is little Sadie who came in from Ohio for a visit. She's cute isn't she?


Of course I always have to take time out to listen to what the flowers have to say.


Remember my first love Henry? He came in to town also. We were still in the awkward post break-up stage, so we ignored each other all day. This was the only time they could get us close enough for a picture.


Ah well, Henry, hopefully time will heal our wounds and we can someday be friends.
