I'm growing up fast. Check out my fancy shoes.
Gigi and G-Pa drove out to visit us in West Virginia in May. Here are some pictures from their visit:
Between G-Pa and Mom you can see a bit of the New River Gorge Bridge.
Here I am hiding under Mom's chair.
Then I found my own chair:
I've spent a lot of time this summer playing in my inflatable pool:
On the Fourth of July some skinhead crashed our party and took over my pool.
I think that he must have a rap sheet. Mom says he looks a lot like Dad.
Turns out it was just Dad.
Grandma Margie and Grandpa Dean came down for the Fourth. We had a really good time.
Except I'm not quite sure what all the fuss is about sparklers.
Dad set a bunch of them up around him and turned into...well no one's quite sure what he turned into.
Today we took our new camera to Beartown State Park. It is a forested park full of crazy rock formations that look like what a town full of Bears would live in. Dad said that he didn't think that it looked anything like Chicago. (Da Bears. Get it?)
Sometimes, in the right light, I look like an angel. What do you think?
Pretty funny, huh!
I had a lot of fun on the Boardwalk.
Dad tried to show me what he said he thought was a bear. It turned out to be a squirrel. And to think that Dad used to be a tour guide and teach people about animals. Mom says that there are a lot of kids in San Diego that think that turtles are dinosaurs thanks to Dad.
So far its been a great summer in the Mountain State.
Mom said to tell everyone that because we have a new camera, Dad has one less excuse not to update the blog. Dad says that if everyone chips in and buys him a new laptop he would promise to help me blog everyday.
