Delia's Song

Delia whistled a different tune, what tune could that be?

Another Saturday Night...

Mom, Dad, and I went to our neighbor's birthday party tonight. I was in charge of the martini shaker. We are going to miss this neighborhood. Posted by Picasa

Meet the Great Grandparents

My Gigi and G-Pa hung out with me this week. We had a grand old time. They are my Mom's Mom's parents. G-Pa is a little nervous that I am going to strangle him with his bolo. He should be nervous; I just might. You never can trust a virgo.Posted by Picasa

Look Out Maggie

My Enemy is a Varmint...

Mom found me a hat.

I think I look really cute in it, don't you?

Dad says he thinks I look like Bill Murray in my fancy hat.

Mom says that she is going to burn his copy of Caddyshack.

So I've got that going for me, which is nice.

The Unthinkable Taste of Cheerios

Mom says that this is a Cheerio.

They don't make me very cheery though.

What a Baby Dreams is a Mystery

Last night Mom and Dad forgave me for waking up and screaming incessantly for an hour because when I did finally fall back asleep I started laughing in my sleep. They keep asking me what I was dreaming about, but I won't tell them. I'll send a free Delia's Song T-Shirt to the first person to correctly guess.

I'm So Good That They Cancelled the Class

Here are some more pictures of my first swim lesson. The pool called after the second lesson and told Mom that they cancelled the class because there weren't enough kids in it. Dad says that everyone quit because they were intimidated by my dolphin-like swimming skills. The pool said that Dad and I could still come and swim, but there would be no teachers. I agreed to keep going, but the idea of Dad teaching me to swim without adult supervision makes me a little nervous. Mom has to keep reminding him that cinderblocks are not pool toys.

Like a Fish...

Dad took me to my first swim lesson today. Oh. My. Gosh. I have never had so much fun in my whole life! I'll post more pictures tomorrow, cause I am beat after all that exercise. But here is a video of my mastery of the backstroke. 2024 Olympics, here I come.

A Mother's Love...

As someone pointed out in the comments, Mom is noticeably absent from this blog. To rectify that, here are some pictures of her and me at Christmas time, when I was just 3 and 1/2 months old. Posted by Picasa

Giddy Up!

Dad says that he got me the pony that I wanted. Something doesn't seem quite right about it though. Mom says that this is but one reason not to trust Dad. Posted by Picasa
