Delia's Song

Delia whistled a different tune, what tune could that be?

Lipstick...and a little song

I made a new friend at school. Her name is Tasha, and she brought lipstick to school. Since I have been BEGGING Mommy for my own lipstick, and been told No every time, I took this oportunity to share Tasha's. I put it on myself...can you tell?

I really like making up little songs and putting on shows. Here is my latest number...

What do you think?

Little Miss Hollywood

Here I am relaxed in my back yard just being myself. (make sure to turn your volume WAY up. This was taken on Mommy's cell phone and the quality isn't very good)

For those who don't spend many hours a week watching Disney movies over and over like me and can't recognize it - the song is Bippity Boppity Boo from Cinderella.

Spring Into Fun!

The weather turned nice again this weekend so we headed out of doors to do some hiking.

Being a big sister means a lot of extra work though. Important things must be passed on to baby brothers, like how to properly run along a boardwalk.

It is never too busy to get a little silly!

The same weather that brings us all of this fun also brings some clean up work. Fortunately for Daddy, I love to sweep!

Then back to the important work of big sisterhood. Next up - sliding down the slide.

All in all a very fun and productive day.

In the Park

Last weekend we had some really beautiful weather here. So we headed out doors to play in the park.

Of course since this is the first time Braden has been old enough to play in the park I had to show him how it is done.

Time to hit the swings! Look at me go all by myself.

It feels so good to be outside after a long cold winter.

Of course we don't have to be out in the park to have fun. Braden and I make our own fun wherever we go.

I hope to have a lot more fun pictures of us playing to put up soon!

Snow Days

This week Mommy and Daddy played hooky from work one morning so we could play in the snow. Daddy pulled me on the sled!

It was cold out so I had to bundle up.

I even got to pull Daddy on the sled once!

Here I am in action

Merry Christmas!

Christmas with Grandma and Grandpa Russell starts the night before. We all dressed up in our pretty clothes and went to a nice dinner.

I think I looked especially beautiful in my red dress.

After dinner we came home and opened a couple of presents. I always get brand new Christmas PJ's to sleep in.

As a bonus we also got a new book to read before bed, "The Night Before Christmas".

Then it was off the bed so Santa could come. The visions of sugarplums really danced in my head all night.

In the morning I got to come downstairs and see what Santa brought. He really filled my stocking with all kinds of good things!

But that wasn't all, there were more presents from Santa waiting for me under the tree. First I had to figure out which ones were mine. We were really excited, just check out Braden's face in the background.

Then the opening extravaganza began!

Santa brought some really great toys. I have my own Mickey Mouse Clubhouse to play with while I watch the cartoon.

I also got the only thing I asked for: a Potato Head.

Daddy never had a Mr. Potato Head when he was growing up. Apparently this was a bigger deal than any of us realized. He immediately got busy making up for lost time.

I also got some great clothes. My Great Aunt Randi made me this fantastic hat/scarf combo. Pretty, huh?

I also got to become a world traveler with this great globe Grandma and Grandpa got me.

Of course, even with all of the presents in the world you can not truly call yourself spoiled until you get a pony for Christmas. Guess I am spoiled after all.

Merry Christmas to all and Giddy-up all night!

Walking in a Winter Wonderland

It snowed here last week. Mommy and Daddy finally got out to get me some snow gear that fits, so I got to go out and play in it. I love snow!

Then I found this great big icicle. It was just as tall as me, can you believe it?

I had a great time rolling around in the snow. I can't wait until it snows again!

A Princess's Halloween Tale

Halloween is a very fun holiday. We started the festivities by making a jack-o-lantern. Daddy let me help, with proper supervision of course.

I even jumped in and helped remove the guts. It was kinda icky, but I did it.

This is what we came up with. One scary and one happy. Pretty huh?

Then we had a party at school. This is my friend Stella, she is a spooky witch.

Here is my best friend Ally. She dressed up as Dorothy.

After the costume party it was time to get down to the serious business of eating junk food and being silly.

Then came the real fun -- Halloween night! I dressed up as the most beautiful princess in all the kingdom. Like my pretty hat? Mommy made it for me all by herself, which if you know Mommy you know that is really something special!

Now that I am dressed like a proper princess it is time to go beg candy from my neighbors.

Along the way I made some new friends. Daddy said he doesn't approve of my new boyfriend. Such a spoil sport.

Oh well, time to go home and enjoy the fruits of my labor.

Yummy! Like I said: Halloween is a very fun holiday!

Pumpkin Hunting

This weekend we went hunting for a pumpkin. It was dangerous business being out there hunting... there were scary beasts to beware of.

Eventually I got past the beasties and made into the pumpkin fields. I found this cute little guy I wanted to take home with me.

Since I'm a big girl now it was up to me to haul the pumpkins back to the car.

Aw, this one is just my size! I think I'll take him home.

Fun Fall Festivities

Every year in October there is a great festival that takes over the streets of downtown. There is always great things for kids to do - like this fun jumper.

I had so much fun jumping and playing in here I made Mommy and Daddy pay for three trips into the jumper!

Then it was time for some fun face painting.

When they asked what I wanted I knew right away - a butterfly! I think it turned out very pretty.

We continued the festivities at home when Daddy broke out the Halloween decorations. I had a lot of fun seeing all the ghosts and witches, and wanted most of the decorations to go in my room. Eventually Mom and Dad persuaded me we should decorate the rest of the house as well.

I took a brief time out from decorating the house and did a little decorating of myself!

Next great adventure: pumpkin hunting! I can't wait...
